Front End, in collaboration with Spaceknow and its spin-off company Forest.io, partnered with the Royal Reserve Development Authority to implement a comprehensive monitoring system for the vast King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve. This system utilizes Al-powered satellite imagery for monitoring land development, vegetation, and animal migration patterns, empowering the Authority to make well-informed decisions to ensure the highest conservation standards.

Monitoring the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve

The AI-driven monitoring platform revealed the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), visually identifying areas with increasing chlorophyll content and denser vegetation cover (orange red) within the reserve, and offering valuable insights into the ecosystem's health and early detection of potential threats. Additionally, the project integrates animal telemetry data with satellite imagery to gain a deeper understanding of migration patterns within the reserve.
